Our partner farms are intentional with every aspect of growing and processing their beans. They make sure we only receive the best raw green beans. Thus, we want to respect their time and energy by roasting the best coffee possible.

We can only do that through having a relationship with our farmers. They give us incredibly helpful input for roasting and motivate us to produce great coffee with every bag; from our Bridge City staples to our experimental seasonals.

Our staff development and training focuses on three core values. These values are a key part of helping us build value and hope in people through coffee.

GROWTH MENTALITY - The belief that you can continually improve yourself by pushing outside your comfort zone to learn from failures rather than letting them define you. This takes courage and humility.

ACTIVE EMPATHY - Treat every person like they matter, because they do. Give people the chance to be understood and embrace differences rather than letting them divide.

PURSUIT OF EXCELLENCE - Excellence in the small things leads to excellence in all things. The choice to pursue excellence reflects the excellence in each individual.

Of the three pillars Bridge City is built on, Community Impact is fully dependent on the other two to exist authentically. As mentioned in the video, we believe it is hypocrisy if we try to take care of those far away before doing so for those closest to us.

Because of that belief, before moving outward into the community, we strove for an effective and functioning internal business model. We are so grateful and excited to share that it is working!
