Our Travelers Rest location was born out of a partnership with Andy O’Mara, the owner of the Sidewall Pastry Kitchen who bakes our delicious pastries fresh each day. Upon connecting it was clear we both have the same aim to build value and hope in people. To be honest, it was a little startling how Andy and Greg aligned on so many business practices. Not only did we see the opportunity for opening the cafe in a shared space, but we were also able to utilize a warehouse in TR through this relationship as well (only 5 minutes from the new cafe)! This couldn’t have come at a better time as we were ready to expand our roasting operations. It was clear this was a partnership that would be rooted in the community and a testament to what happens by seeking relationship over transaction.
