When you purchase a subscription from Bridge City Coffee, you agree to the terms below. This policy applies to all recurring coffee subscription orders placed through our website.

1. How subscriptions work

A Bridge City Coffee subscription automatically places recurring orders for the product(s) you select at the delivery frequency shown at checkout. Your saved payment method will be charged automatically based on that schedule unless your subscription is changed, paused, skipped, or canceled before the next billing date.

2. Billing and renewal

By starting a subscription, you authorize Bridge City Coffee to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis for your subscription product(s), applicable shipping charges, and any required taxes.

Your subscription will continue until you cancel it.

3. Managing your subscription

You may manage your subscription through your customer account, including, where available:

  • skipping an upcoming order
  • pausing or resuming your subscription
  • canceling your subscription
  • updating your shipping address
  • updating your payment method

Changes must be made before your next order is processed. If an order has already been processed or charged, changes may apply to the following order instead. Shopify’s customer account tools support self-service subscription management and payment/address updates. 

4. Order reminders and notifications

We may send email reminders or order-related notifications before upcoming subscription shipments. These notifications can include reminders, order confirmations, and payment-related updates. Shopify supports subscription email notifications for customers and staff.

5. Price changes

We may change subscription pricing, shipping charges, product availability, roast offerings, or other subscription terms from time to time. If we make a material change affecting your active subscription, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you before the change takes effect on a future order.

6. Product changes and availability

Coffee is an agricultural product, and availability can change. If a subscribed product becomes unavailable, we may:

  • delay shipment until inventory is available
  • contact you for an available substitute
  • skip that order
  • cancel the affected subscription item and notify you

If inventory is unavailable, Shopify may prevent a subscription order from being created unless overselling is allowed.

7. Failed payments

If a recurring payment fails, we may retry the charge or ask you to update your payment method before future orders can be processed. Your subscription may be paused, delayed, or canceled if payment information is not updated in time. Shopify allows merchants to identify failed-payment subscribers and send update links for payment methods.

8. Shipping

Subscription orders are shipped to the shipping address saved to your account at the time the recurring order is processed. It is your responsibility to keep your shipping address current.

Bridge City Coffee is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, holidays, or incorrect address information entered by the customer.

9. Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time before your next order is processed. Once an order has been processed, billed, or fulfilled, that order cannot be canceled and will be treated as a final sale, subject to our general refund or replacement policies.

Under Shopify Subscriptions, once a subscription contract is canceled, it is not restored automatically. A new subscription order must be placed if the customer wants to subscribe again.

10. Returns, refunds, and replacements

Because coffee is a consumable product, subscription orders are generally non-returnable and non-refundable once processed or shipped.

If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or there is a quality issue, contact us at [support email] within [5] days of delivery and we will review the issue and work toward an appropriate resolution.

11. Account responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining accurate account, billing, shipping, and contact information. Bridge City Coffee is not responsible for missed shipments, failed renewals, or delivery issues caused by outdated account information.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Subscription Policy at any time by posting a revised version on our website. The updated version will apply to future subscription orders after the effective date shown above.
